Your reservation and agreement are with Waypoint Crew Ltd, registered under number 15393794, located at 5 Canon Court, Institute St., Bolton, England, BL1 1PZ (referred to as "we", "us", the "Company," or "our"). By reserving or participating in any trip or event with us, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions.

Waypoint Crew exclusively caters to adult excursions. Participants must be at least 18 years old to reserve or attend any of our outings.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all events are managed by Waypoint Crew, and by reserving or joining a trip with us, you are consenting to the following Terms and Conditions.

For events organised with third-party providers, separate Terms and Conditions will apply, which you must agree to before participation.
Participation, Safety & Risk

By taking part in Waypoint Crew activities—such as hiking, cycling, and other outdoor pursuits—you acknowledge the inherent risks involved and confirm that you are medically fit for the activity. You are responsible for your own safety, including staying clear of cliff edges, slippery surfaces, electric fences, and barbed wire, and not engaging in actions that could endanger yourself or others.

We recommend arranging suitable insurance for day hikes and weekend trips. The BMC offers appropriate policies at reasonable rates.
Potential Risks

Outdoor activities involve some unavoidable risks, including:

Rough or uneven terrain – may strain muscles or joints.

Physical exertion – activities may be more demanding than daily routines.
-
Height & water – some situations may be stressful despite safety precautions.
-
Natural environment – sudden weather changes, slippery surfaces, rock falls, lightning, etc.
-
Slips, trips & falls – more likely than in everyday life.
-
Loss or damage – personal belongings may be lost or damaged.
Your Responsibilities

Medical conditions & allergies – please inform us of any conditions that could affect your participation.

Fears & phobias – let us know about major concerns so we can support you.

Drugs & alcohol – participation under the influence is not allowed.

Follow instructions – all guidance from instructors must be followed.

Waypoint Crew takes all reasonable steps to ensure your safety, but some risks are unavoidable and part of the outdoor experience. Activities are not suitable for anyone under 18.

Please do not bring valuables; all personal items are your responsibility, and Waypoint Crew is not liable for loss or damage.

By participating, you confirm that you understand these risks and agree to comply with the safety instructions provided.
Health, Safety & Consent

Your personal well-being is our utmost priority. You must ensure that you are medically fit for the trip you have booked.

Please inform us of any medical conditions or concerns that may affect your or others’ enjoyment of the trip - this includes, but is not limited to, asthma, diabetes, heart conditions, and allergies before the trip.

In the event of a medical emergency, you consent to the administration of First Aid measures by the group leader or any other individual with current First Aid training. You further consent to any necessary medical treatment administered by Emergency Services.

All participants are required to complete a consent form, which will be provided during the booking process.
Refunds & Ticket Transfers

For day hikes, no refunds will be issued unless the event is cancelled by Waypoint Crew. If you are unable to attend due to illness, injury, or a change of plans, you may sell your ticket to another individual. Once payment has been received, please notify us via email at info@waypointcrew.com, including the name of the new ticket holder, as they will need to complete a participant consent form.

Waypoint Crew is not responsible for reselling your ticket on your behalf.

For weekend trips, holidays, and other adventure experiences, refund and cancellation policies may differ depending on the terms and conditions set by the third-party provider at the time of booking.
Event Cancellation or Alterations

Some hikes and trips may change due to weather or other safety considerations. Waypoint Crew reserves the right to alter trip details or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political instability, epidemics, or other emergencies. In such cases, you may transfer your payment to another event or request a refund, excluding any non-refundable costs incurred.

You agree to follow the decisions of the event leader, whose judgment on safety is final. Participants posing a risk to themselves or others may be asked to leave without a refund.

All participants must comply with local laws and regulations. Any illegal activity may result in immediate removal from the event, without refund.

For weekend trips, holidays, and other adventure experiences, refund and cancellation policies may differ depending on the terms and conditions set by the third-party provider at the time of booking.
Transportation

For trips excluding transport, Waypoint Crew is not responsible for changes or cancellations made by third-party service providers, such as airlines or trains. It is your responsibility to make alternative arrangements in such case
Clothing and Equipment

Appropriate clothing and equipment are essential for all Waypoint Crew activities. This includes sturdy hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing, and waterproof layers.

Participants who arrive without suitable kit may not be permitted to join the event, and refunds will not be issued in such cases.

A detailed kit list will be provided before each event, except for socials and events held in London.
Photography & Videography Policy

By attending Waypoint Crew events, you acknowledge that photos and videos may be captured and used for marketing and promotional purposes, including on our website and social media channels.

If you do not wish for images of yourself to be used, please notify us within 10 working days of the event by emailing info@waypointcrew.com, and we will honour your request.

By sharing photos or videos in the Waypoint Crew WhatsApp group or on other shared platforms, you grant Waypoint Crew access to use these images or videos of yourself for marketing and promotional purposes on a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, and irrevocable basis.
Privacy Policy & Cookie Policy

By consenting to Waypoint Crew's Terms & Conditions, you are also acknowledging and accepting our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
